Based on ancient iconography, the “Ilaney Sefirot” (sefirotic trees), these series of diagrams are maps of the divine, depicting its different emanations and powers, often taking the form of a human body. The topic of the chain of emanation and divine efflux is at the center, focusing on the relation and integration of opposites—Hesed and Gevurah, feminine and masculine. This series of works is based on and inspired by artifacts belonging to the Gross Family Collection.
